If possible, remove the existing vent.
	To get the correct measurement you will need to measure the actual opening in the wall, ceiling, or floor.
	The width is always expressed first, followed by the height.
	If the rough opening measures 20 inches wide by 30 inches tall, the correct size piece to order would be a 20" X 30".
	The actual vent or register's interior dimensions will be slightly smaller, so the piece's frame fits into the recessed opening.
	The actual vent or registers outer dimensions, or flange, will be larger. This will ensure the flange will fit flush on the finished surface and will completely cover the rough opening. This outer flange will need a 1.5 inch clearance around the roughed in opening. Please let us know if you do not have that clearance on all sides.

	If you are unable to remove the existing vent or register, you will need to remove the existing filter to access where the vent is mounted to your duct end. Once the filter is removed, measure the roughed in opening. Please call us if you need assistance.
	All vent doors open right to left. Please note if the location of you vent will not allow this. We can adjust the door to open left to right.
